Runner - Deer

A ready-made runner, hemmed and finished with an inwoven border, with the deer design printed straight onto the fabric: you stitch over the printed colours instead of counting from a chart. The print is made to wash out, so once the embroidery is done a simple wash leaves only the stitches on the cloth.

Alongside cross stitch the design uses a few long stitches for details such as the falling snow. Everything needed is in the kit: fabric, threads, needle and instructions. A hoop and a small pair of scissors make the work more comfortable. Once finished, the runner dresses a table or a sideboard through the winter months.
