A ready-hemmed table runner to embroider: the design is printed straight onto the fabric, so there is no counting involved — you simply follow the printed outlines, which wash out once the stitching is finished. With only five colours and two simple stitches it grows quickly, even as a first large piece of printed embroidery.
Long stitch is used for the tufts of grass, while the bunnies and eggs are worked in cross stitch. A hoop or frame is handy to keep the fabric taut over the stitched areas, though it is not part of the kit. Once finished and washed, the runner is ready to dress the Easter table or a sideboard.
