Description

A ready-made, hemmed table runner with the lavender stems printed straight onto the fabric: you simply follow the printed lines, with no counting, and the print washes out once the work is finished. The three stitches involved — loop, satin and stem stitch — are among the easiest in surface embroidery and are explained in the instructions.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the pack; an embroidery hoop and a small pair of embroidery scissors make the work more comfortable. The long, narrow shape suits a dining table or a sideboard, and the linen-cotton blend stays soft through repeated washing.
