Description

A ready-made, hemmed table runner with a band of meadow flowers printed straight onto the cotton: you stitch by following the printed colours, with no counting involved. The printed lines wash out after the first wash, so cover them well with thread and work with clean hands.

Everything you need is in the kit, threads included: you only need to add an embroidery hoop and a small pair of scissors. The range of stitches, from satin stitch to shaded long and short stitch, suits someone with a little experience. Once finished and pressed from the back, the runner can dress a table or a sideboard, or make a gift for the home.
