Description

A ready-made, hemmed table runner with the wild flower design printed straight onto the fabric: you embroider over the coloured lines, with no counting involved, and the printing washes away after the first wash, leaving only the stitching. The long, narrow shape suits a dining table, a sideboard or a console.

Only a few basic stitches are needed, so the kit works well for anyone who has done a little hand sewing and wants to move on to surface embroidery. A hoop and scissors are not included: a round hoop helps keep the fabric taut for the satin stitch areas. Once finished, wash the runner and press it face down on a soft cloth.
