Description

A ready-made table runner, hemmed and finished with an inwoven border, with the design printed straight onto the green cotton: you embroider over the printed outlines, with no counting involved, and the printing washes out at the first wash leaving only the stitching. The sprays of white flowers, ferns and oak leaves are worked in classic surface stitches such as satin stitch and long and short stitch.

The manufacturer rates this as a demanding project, so some experience with filling stitches and shading helps. An embroidery hoop and a small pair of scissors are handy alongside the kit. Once washed and pressed, the runner is ready for the table or a sideboard.
