A birth sampler from Vervaco's Sepia collection: two teddy bears seen from behind, worked in soft shades of brown, next to a frame to personalise with the baby's name, date of birth and weight. The alphabet supplied with the chart lets you letter the details, and the threads cover both the pink and the blue colourway, so you can decide as you stitch.
Counted cross stitch means working from the chart and counting squares on the fabric; the large-square chart is easy to follow even on an early project. The frame is not included: to recreate the photo you will need a frame and mount, bought separately, along with a hoop and small embroidery scissors.
