A ready-made square tablecloth, already hemmed with a woven border: you only stitch the decoration, a group of Christmas gnomes in red hats with small fir trees, and the piece is ready for the table. The design is printed straight onto the cotton, so you follow the colours instead of counting stitches, and the printing ink disappears with the first wash.
Long stitch is used for the elongated details, such as beards and branches, while the rest is worked in cross stitch. Fabric, threads, needle and instructions are all included: you only need small scissors and, if you like working with the fabric taut, a hoop or frame.
