Description

A square tablecloth that comes ready hemmed, with the daisy sprays printed straight onto the fabric: you follow the design, with no thread counting involved. In the photo the ground is dark grey and the white flowers stand out strongly; the printing washes away, so cover the lines well with your stitches.

Five different stitches are used, from satin stitch petals to knotted flower centres, so this one suits stitchers with some experience of freestyle embroidery. An embroidery hoop helps keep the cotton taut and the petals even. Once finished and washed, the cloth is ready to use on the table.
