Description

A square tablecloth that comes ready hemmed, with the design printed straight onto the cotton: there is no counting involved, you simply stitch over the printed colour symbols in cross stitch, adding a few outlines in back stitch. The motifs run around the borders and leave the centre free for a lamp, a vase or a tea set.

The printed design washes out, so a wash at the end removes any marks still showing. An embroidery hoop makes the work easier to handle. Once finished, the cloth suits a square table or a console and can be machine washed at a low temperature.
