Description

A ready-made, hemmed tablecloth with the design printed straight onto the fabric: there is no counting involved, you simply stitch over the coloured lines, which wash out once the work is finished. The autumn motifs run along the four sides and leave the centre free, so the cloth stays practical to lay a table with.

Alongside cross stitch you will use back stitch for the outlines and a few french knots for the details, all covered in the enclosed instructions. Everything you need to stitch it is in the kit; an embroidery hoop is worth adding if you like to keep the fabric taut. It is a large project to work through at your own pace, ending in a cloth you can actually use through the season.
