Description

A square tablecloth that comes ready made and hemmed, with the design printed straight onto the fabric: you stitch along the printed lines, with no counting, and the print disappears with the first wash, leaving only the embroidery. The wreath of roses, pine sprigs and cones suits the Christmas table and still looks right through the winter.

Threads and everything else needed are supplied, except a hoop and scissors, which help keep the fabric taut and the stitches even. Satin, long and short, stem stitch and french knots are classic surface embroidery stitches; the manufacturer rates the project as difficult, so some experience is useful.
