An autumn wreath runs around the edge of the cloth: leaves, berries, dried flowers and, among the branches, hedgehogs and robins. The design is already printed on the grey fabric, so there is no counting involved: you simply stitch over the print, which washes out completely once the work is finished.
Everything you need is in the box, from the hemmed cloth to the threads and the needle, so only a hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut needs to be added. On a piece this size it helps to work section by section, starting from one corner. Once finished, the cloth looks at home on a side table or as a centrepiece for an autumn table setting.
