Description

A ready-made tablecloth with the design printed straight onto the fabric: there is no counting involved, you simply stitch over the printed colours in cross stitch, with a little back stitch for the outlines. The motif runs along all four sides, framing the cloth with eucalyptus sprigs, small flowers and dragonflies.

It suits stitchers with little experience, although the stitched area is generous and takes time; an embroidery frame helps keep the fabric taut. The printed design washes out, so only the embroidery remains once the work is finished. The hem and woven border are already sewn, which means the cloth is ready to use as soon as the last stitch is done.
