Description

A ready-made tablecloth, hemmed and with a woven border, on which the design is printed: you stitch straight over the print in cross stitch, with no counting, and once washed the printed lines disappear leaving only the embroidery. The motifs sit in the four corners, so the centre of the table stays clear.

It suits stitchers with little experience, although it is a sizeable piece: a hoop or frame helps keep the fabric taut as you work. Everything you need to stitch is in the kit, threads included; you only have to add a pair of small scissors. When finished, wash the cloth and press it face down on a soft towel so the stitches are not flattened.
