Twins

Two newborns asleep in each other's arms, worked in the soft sepia shades of this Vervaco series: a birth sampler designed above all for twins. Below the picture there is room for the names and the date, as the sample photo shows.

It is worked in counted cross stitch on 14 count Aida, with everything you need already in the box; a hoop or frame makes stitching easier. The monochrome palette is restful, as you rarely change thread, but it does ask for care in following the shifts between tones. The frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed as a gift for a birth or a christening.
