Willy on a mushroom

A birth sampler from the Maya the Bee range: Willy perched on a red mushroom, with room to stitch the baby's name and date of birth, framed by two green borders. It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, following the symbol chart, usually with two strands of stranded cotton.

The kit holds all the stitching materials: fabric, DMC threads, needle and chart; you only need to add a hoop or frame for stitching, small scissors and, once finished, a picture frame, which is not included. It is a manageable project for anyone with a little counted cross stitch experience and a classic gift for a new baby or a christening.
