Description

Two bookmarks to stitch in counted cross stitch on white Aida: one with dolphins leaping through moonlit waves, the other with a long-maned unicorn. They are small, quick projects that travel well in a bag and can be finished in a few evenings, even by someone who has only just started counting stitches.

Besides cross stitch there are a few long stitches and french knots, both explained in the instructions. Everything needed for the stitching is in the kit, including the ribbons for the top; a piece of card or felt on the back is handy for the final making up. Once finished, they make a simple gift to tuck inside a book.
