Description

Two bookmarks showing long-tailed tits perched among twigs laden with red berries, worked in counted cross stitch on Aida with a little back stitch for the outlines. They are small pieces that come together in a few evenings: a good way to try counted cross stitch without committing to a long project, or to make a matching pair of gifts for keen readers.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the pack, but the finishing is up to you: fringe the edges as in the photo, bind them with a narrow ribbon or back them with thin felt. A small hoop and good light make the work more comfortable.
