Description

A long, lazy dog with its muzzle down and ears hanging, worked in cross stitch on a canvas that is painted by hand: you follow the colours printed on the fabric instead of counting stitches, and the thick yarn covers the canvas quickly. The work grows fast, so it suits first-time stitchers and children working alongside an adult.

The kit makes only the front of the draft stopper: to finish it you will need backing fabric and filling, plus sewing thread and a needle. Once made up, it sits along the bottom of a door or window to keep draughts out, or can be used as a long bolster cushion on a sofa or a child's bed.
