Fairy with Butterflies

A fairy with large butterfly wings, surrounded by water flowers and pink butterflies, with the moon lighting up the night sky: a tall design full of shading, from the violet background to the greens of the gown. The chart is printed with large squares, which helps in the areas with many colour changes.

Besides what is in the pack you will need a hoop or frame and small sharp scissors; the frame shown is not included. On 14 count Aida the design is usually worked with two strands of stranded cotton, and one strand for the back stitch outlines. Once finished, the piece suits framing, ideally with a mount that sets off its tall format.
