Description

A wall height chart to stitch in cross stitch, with forest cubs placed along the numbered marks, so a child's growth can be recorded and kept as embroidery. The alphabet included in the chart lets you add a name and a date of birth, turning the piece into a personalised new-baby or christening gift.

Besides cross stitch there are a few long stitches and back stitch outlines: nothing demanding, even with little experience. A hoop or frame is needed for stitching and is not part of the kit; once finished, the band can be hemmed and hung from a wooden dowel or mounted on a hanger.
