Height Chart - Panda bear goes to sleep

A wall height chart worked in counted cross stitch on Aida: the pandas climb the ladder, doze on the clouds and keep company with the centimetre markings used to record a child's growth. The chart also includes an alphabet, so a name and a date of birth can be added to turn it into a personalised gift.

The stitching is open and the chart is printed with large squares, so the project suits stitchers with little experience too. A hoop or frame is useful while you work and is not included; once finished, the chart can be mounted on a wooden dowel or hemmed along the edges so it hangs flat on the wall.
