Potpourri bags: Violets

Three potpourri bags to work in counted cross stitch, with a few long stitches for the trailing stems. The bags come ready sewn, so you stitch straight onto the Aida panel and there is no making up to do at the end. The large-square chart and the modest number of colours keep the work flowing, even if you have little experience with counted stitching.

Once finished, fill them with potpourri, lavender or dried flowers — not included in the kit — and close them with the cord supplied: hang them in the wardrobe, tuck them into a drawer, or give them as three matching little gifts. A small hoop or frame sized to the bag makes stitching more comfortable.
