Description

A Christmas table runner to work in counted cross stitch: the fabric comes already hemmed and finished, so once the last stitch is in place a wash and a press are all it takes before it goes on the table. The design sits at both ends and leaves the centre free for candles, a tray or an arrangement of greenery.

Threads, needle and chart are all in the pack: you only need a hoop or frame, if you like to keep the fabric taut, and a small pair of scissors. The 11 count Aida has large, clearly visible squares that suit stitchers with little experience, and it keeps a piece of this size moving along at a good pace.
