Description

Lavender, yarrow and yellow meadow flowers with a butterfly, stitched at one end of a ready-hemmed cotton runner: you work straight onto the printed fabric, following the printed colours and the chart supplied. Besides cross stitch there is long stitch for the tall stems and stem stitch for the outlines, so it suits anyone who has already done a little embroidery.

The printed design washes out, so once the stitching is done a gentle wash and pressing on the reverse are all that is needed. An embroidery hoop and a small pair of scissors are handy while you work; the finished runner looks well on a table or sideboard and makes a nice gift for the home.
