Three striped cats in a row along a white table runner, stitched straight onto the design printed on the fabric: there is no counting involved, you work over the print, which washes out after the first wash. Alongside cross stitch there are a few long stitches and back stitch for the outlines and details such as whiskers and tails.
The runner comes already hemmed with an inwoven border, so no sewing is needed once the stitching is done: just wash and press it. An embroidery frame makes the work easier to handle, but it is not included. A good project for stitchers with little experience and a simple way to dress a dining table or a sideboard.
