Runner - Winter in the forest

A table runner that comes ready hemmed: the linen-blend Aida has an inwoven border and a finished edge, so once the stitching is done all it needs is a gentle wash and pressing on the reverse. The large-square chart is easy on the eyes and, with only four colours, the design grows quickly even if you have little experience of counted cross stitch.

The motif sits in a band at each end, leaving the centre of the table free. Threads and needle are included, while a hoop or frame and scissors are chosen separately to suit your own habits.
