Description

A tablecloth that comes ready made, hemmed and with its inwoven border: the design is printed on the fabric, so there is no counting involved — you simply stitch over the printed colours. Alongside the cross stitch there are a few free embroidery stitches, such as stem stitch, back stitch, long stitch and french knots, for the stems, outlines and flower centres.

The printed lines wash out, so the finished piece comes up clean and can go straight onto the table or a sideboard. A hoop or frame is handy to keep the fabric taut while you work. It also makes a lovely gift for anyone who likes embroidery for the home.
