Description

Two polar bears in winter woollies on a background that echoes the pattern of a knitted jumper: a design taken from original artwork by Emma Ball and worked in counted cross stitch, with back stitch for the outlines and French knots for the small details.

The Aida is printed in full colour beneath the stitching, so it is easier to keep your place in the chart and the background stays soft where the coverage is lighter. The threads come ready sorted on an organiser. A hoop or frame and a sharp pair of embroidery scissors make the work more comfortable; the frame shown is not included and can be chosen once the piece is finished.
