Description

A bee in flight and a ladybird settled in a corner of garden, among bunting, little flowers and stars, with their exchange of words stitched underneath: a small scene drawn by Eleanor Teasdale for the Ladybird and Bee collection.

The small format makes it a piece you can finish over a few evenings, and the threads come already sorted colour by colour, so you can start straight away. Besides the kit you will need a hoop and a frame, which are not included: at 12 cm square the design suits a small square frame or a hanging embroidery hoop. The French knots and back stitch outlines take a little care, but they are only details over a ground of full cross stitches.
