Description

A stitched Christmas greeting: two banners carrying the lettering cross the design among red poinsettias and white narcissi, with small insects tucked between the flowers. The sage green fabric shows through as the background colour, so the unstitched areas are part of the finished look.

It is worked in counted cross stitch from the chart, with the lettering and petal outlines picked out in back stitch: a project for someone with a little counting experience. You will also need a hoop or frame and small scissors, and the picture frame is not included: the tall format suits framing and hanging through the festive season.
