A little bunny pieced together from floral and checked fabrics, wearing a knitted hat and holding a patchwork ball: a sampler to mark a new arrival. The name and date shown in the photo are only an example — the alphabet and numbers supplied let you stitch the baby's own details.
Counted cross stitch is worked by following the chart square by square on Aida, an even weave that is easy to read even with little experience. The threads come ready sorted on the organiser, so you can start straight away. A hoop or frame is handy while stitching, and the picture frame is not included: the finished piece can be framed or made up into a nursery cushion.
