Description

An orange tree in true Arts and Crafts spirit, framed by the interlaced foliage border typical of William Morris designs. It is worked in half cross stitch over a canvas that is already printed in full colour, so there is no counting involved: you simply cover the design with diagonal stitches all slanting the same way, which makes for relaxing, steady progress.

The 12 count canvas can be stitched in the hand or on a frame. To make it up as a cushion you will need backing fabric and a pad, which are not included: Bothy Threads offers a square navy backing kit separately. The finished piece can also simply be framed.
