Description

A wreath of holly and ivy with a robin perched on a twig and the words 'The Holly and the Ivy' at its centre. The design is already printed in colour on the calico, so there is no counting involved: you follow the printed lines using a range of creative stitches, all explained in the stitch diagram.

The stranded cottons come pre-sorted by colour and the metallic threads add a little sparkle to the lettering and berries. The backing calico gives the work body while you stitch; a hoop or frame for stitching is not included. Once finished, the piece is ready to be framed as a Christmas decoration to bring out each year.
