Description

A round folk-art panel of swallows swooping between wheat ears and poppies. The design is printed in colour straight onto the calico, so there is no counting: you follow the printed lines, using different stitches for the feathers, the flowers and the curling clouds. The chart and instructions explain which stitch to use in each area.

An embroidery hoop makes the work much easier and is not included, nor is the frame shown in the photo. Once finished, the circle can be displayed in a hoop, framed, or made up into a cushion or a small wall panel.
