Have You Seen This Chicken?

A police notice asking for news of a missing chicken, with a £1,000 reward: under the red rubber glove you will recognise Feathers McGraw, the criminal mastermind from Wallace & Gromit. The design is printed in full colour straight onto the Aida, so the chart guides the stitching while the printing keeps you from losing your place.

As well as plain cross stitch there are fractional stitches, back stitch for the lettering and French knots, so a little experience helps. You will also want a hoop and small scissors; the frame is not included. Framed like a real notice, the finished piece looks good in a child's room or a study.
