Description

Two donkeys peering over a hedge, with a small bird perched alongside: a Hannah Dale design worked on fabric whose background is already printed with flecks of colour, so the setting comes to life without stitching every square.

You follow the counted chart, adding backstitch outlines and a single French knot at the end. The stranded cottons come sorted by colour on a card organiser, ready to use. A hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors are handy extras. The picture frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed or made up into a cushion.
