Description

A midsummer countryside scene: the lavender rows lead the eye towards the stone cottage and its cypress trees, while the sky glows pink and lilac. The picture is worked almost entirely in cross stitch, with back stitch for the outlines, so it suits anyone who has a few projects behind them and enjoys shading.

The kit brings fabric, colour-sorted threads, needle, chart and instructions: all you need to add is a pair of small scissors and, if you prefer the fabric taut, a hoop or frame. The frame is not included: the square design looks good mounted behind a pale mount board.
