Description

A hen settled on her nest among the eggs, with the rhyme running around the circular border: a Margaret Sherry design with soft, humorous lines, made for spring and Easter. It is worked in counted cross stitch from the chart, with a little back stitch for the outlines and French knots for the details.

The stranded cottons come already sorted on a card organiser, so the right shade is easy to find. The hoop shown in the pictures is not included: the round shape does look lovely mounted in a display hoop, or framed behind a circular mount.
