Description

A little girl with her arms around a big, patient dog, under the stitched words 'Love is forever': a design taken from original artwork by Anita Jeram, illustrator of Guess How Much I Love You, with soft watercolour tones recreated through blended thread shades.

The design is worked in counted cross stitch on cream Aida, following the chart; outlines and facial details are finished in back stitch, while French knots add texture to eyes and small details. A hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut is useful too. The display frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed or made up into a cushion, and makes a lovely gift for dog lovers.
