Made For Each Other

A large heart built from small celebration motifs — ribboned doves, posies, glasses, bunting, butterflies and hearts — framing the names and the date in the centre, with a tiered cake and the word «Celebrate» at the bottom. It makes a wedding or anniversary keepsake to stitch and give to the couple.

The design is worked on Aida by counting the stitches: alongside full crosses there is back stitch for the outlines and three French knots, so a little experience helps. The stranded cottons come ready sorted on the organiser. The frame is not included: you will also need a hoop and small scissors.
