The design comes from one of William Morris's best known wallpapers: open pink flowers, green leafy scrolls and small yellow blooms mirrored across a blue ground. Stitching covers the whole design area and uses full cross stitch only, with no fractional stitches and no backstitch, so it is substantial in size and colour count but straightforward to work.
The threads arrive already sorted on the organiser, so there is no sorting to do before you start. A hoop or frame and good light make the stitching easier; the frame is not included and should be chosen separately, allowing for the fabric margin left around the embroidery.
