PPP Presents Christmas Card

A penguin in a red Santa hat strides along balancing a pile of parcels while snowflakes drift past: a design by Margaret Sherry, with her typically round, humorous characters. The stitched area is small and comes together in a couple of evenings, so it is an easy way to send handmade Christmas wishes.

Everything you need is in the kit, card and envelope included. The design is worked in cross stitch on the blue Aida, with a little back stitch for the outlines and two French knots; the sequins are added at the end and the velcro holds the stitching in the card. All you need to add is a pair of small scissors and, if you prefer working taut, a little hoop.
