Snow Moon

A moonlit winter scene by Lizzie Spikes, worked in counted cross stitch on the white Aida supplied with the kit. Outlines and finer details are added in backstitch, the straight stitch worked backwards along the design line; the chart shows exactly where it is needed.

The stranded cottons come pre-sorted, so there is no colour matching to do before you start. You only need to add a hoop or frame, small scissors and something to display the finished piece in. The tall, narrow shape suits a framed picture, or a panel for a shelf as part of your winter decorations.
