A light-hearted scene in Anita Jeram's unmistakable line style: a ginger and white cat holds up a big pink umbrella while a small companion in a hat and boots walks along between pebbles and wild flowers. Plenty of bare fabric around the figures keeps the design airy and draws the eye to the stitched wording at the bottom.
It is worked in counted cross stitch, with back stitch for the outlines and two French knots for small details; the threads come ready sorted by colour on the organiser, so you can start straight away. You only need scissors and, if you like a taut fabric, a hoop or frame. The frame is not included: the finished piece suits a small square mount.
