A Christmas card to stitch: two mice play on a sprig of fir above the red letters of 'Noel', with little gold stars scattered around. The design is worked on white Aida and, once finished, the stitched piece slips into the oval aperture of the red triple-fold card, which closes behind it — no sewing or framing needed.
Everything you need is in the kit, card and envelope included: just add a small pair of scissors and, if you like to keep the fabric taut, a little hoop. As well as cross stitch the design uses back stitch, lazy daisy stitch and a few French knots, all explained in the instructions. A short project you can finish in an evening.
