Description

A kitten curled up fast asleep in a slipper, taken from Hannah Dale's watercolours for Wrendale Designs. The Aida comes already printed with the speckled background typical of the range, so the design keeps its soft, airy look even where there is no stitching, and the work grows more quickly.

You stitch from the chart, counting the squares, using full cross stitch with a little back stitch to outline the fur and the details of the face. Everything you need to stitch is in the box, apart from a frame: a hoop or stretcher bars and a small pair of scissors make the work easier. Once finished, the piece can be framed or made up into a small cushion.
