Description

A dachshund puppy holding a balloon: just the card for announcing or celebrating a new baby. The threads supplied cover both colourways, so you can decide on blue or pink at the last minute, and the alphabet and number line in the instructions let you add a name and a date.

It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, with a little back stitch for the outlines and two French knots; the speckled background is already printed, so there is no need to stitch the area around the puppy. No hoop is included, though a piece this size is easy to stitch in the hand. When finished, the fabric is mounted behind the aperture of the triple fold card.
