Wild Birthday

A stitchable greetings card for a first birthday: the tiger cub in his party hat is worked in cross stitch, while back stitch draws the balloon string and the outlines. The star sequins are sewn on at the end for a little sparkle. The number line supplied means you can choose which age to stitch, so the same chart will do for later birthdays too.

It is a small project that takes just a few evenings. Once finished, the embroidery is mounted in the cream card provided, ready to write and send in its envelope. All you need to add is a hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors, which are not part of the kit.
